What 3D prints sell well at markets and fairs

The things that sell at a stall are the things people can pick up, understand in a second and carry home:

Starting a small 3D printing business

Ideas for kids starting their first business

A 3D printer and a school fair are a great first business: kids learn to make something, price it, talk to customers and count the money.

The Local license covers all of this. A parent or guardian signs up for the membership.

Selling on Etsy and online marketplaces

Online, buyers search for what they want, so name your listings the way people search: 3D printed dinosaur kit, dinosaur skeleton puzzle, dragon model kit. Use clear photos of the built model and the flat card, say how big it is, and post fast. Online selling needs the Online license.

Browse what you could sell: DinoCards, BugCards, DragonCards, VehicleCards, and everything marked Exclusive on our MakerWorld profile.

Questions

Can I sell 3D prints of your models?

Yes, with a commercial license. Our free downloads on MakerWorld are for personal use only. The license lets you sell physical prints of our exclusive models.

Which models does the license cover?

Every model marked Exclusive on our MakerWorld profile, including the Kit Cards.

Can I sell your Kit Cards at a market, craft fair or school fair?

Yes. The Local license ($5 a month) covers in-person sales: markets, craft fairs, school fairs, pop-up stalls and your own shop.

Can I sell your models on Etsy, Shopee, Lazada or Amazon?

Yes, with the Online license ($15 a month). It covers online shops, marketplaces and social media sales, plus everything the Local license covers.

Can my kids sell prints at a school fair?

Yes. Kids selling at a school fair or market stall is in-person selling, so the Local license covers it. A grown-up joins the membership for them.

Can I sell or share the 3D files?

No. The license is for selling printed items only. The files may not be sold, shared or re-uploaded.

Are fan-art models included?

No. Models based on characters owned by other companies are never covered, because we can't give anyone the right to sell those. Only models marked Exclusive are covered.

How do I get the license?

Join on our Buy Me a Coffee page and pick Local or Online. It's a monthly membership; you can sell while you are a member.
